1282 Shield - T-Shirt
December 11th, 1282, in a forest at Aberedw, the English slayed Llywelyn ap Gruffudd - Llywelyn Ein Llyw Olaf - the last true Prince of Wales. His head was removed and taken to the Tower of London; his body? Nobody knows what happened to it.
Following his murder, the title Prince of Wales was bestowed on the oldest son of the King of England, a symbol of oppression and conquest....
There are scant records of Llywelyn's coat or arms, bar a few ancient images. We have re-imagined it and present it to you as a reminder of the last true Prince of Wales.
