Aberffraw is one of the oldest Mesolithic sites from prehistoric Wales, dating to c. 9,000 years ago; many of the locals can trace their family trees back to that date.

But it is best known as the seat of Llewellyn Fawr. The court was dismantled in 1317 by the English, and the materials were used to build Castell Caernarfon. The bastards....
