Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau — The National Anthem Collection

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi. The land of my fathers is dear to me.

This collection brings together all of our designs inspired by Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau — the Welsh national anthem. Written in 1856 by Evan James and his son James James in Pontypridd, and first sung publicly at Capel Tabor, Maesteg, the anthem has become the most powerful expression of Welsh identity in the world.

From the opening lines to the full chorus — Gwlad! Gwlad! Pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad — to the final defiant call, O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau, every word belongs to every one of us. Whether you're in the Millennium Stadium, following the Red Wall across Europe, or just proud to be Welsh wherever you are in the world.

Wear the words. Diolch. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
