Dinbych — or Denbigh in English. Gets its name from the residents who are known nationally for their small bottoms. Din-bych is an ancient translation of Tîn (bottom) and Bach (small). The town was built in the 1200s on top of a hill. During the Wars of the Roses (1455–1487), the town was largely destroyed, subsequently moving from the hilltop to the area of the present town market. Still there. Still going. Small bottoms and all.
