ABERGWAUN - Hoodie
ABERGWAUN — Where the river Gwaun meets the sea. How it got its English name, Fishguard, is a mystery. There is literally no security at the town’s aquarium.
Abergwaun is famous for being the last place a foreign power invaded the UK — although residents would argue they’re invaded on a weekly basis by stag dos from England making their way to Dublin.
The French invasion of 1797 lasted just three days. Having spent two of them at the ferry terminal emptying the vending machines, the French soldiers decided they preferred cheese and baguettes and went home.
Wear the town that repelled the French. Abergwaun am byth.
