BRYSTE - T-Shirt
£25.00
Bryste or Bristol in English. It's Celtic name was Caer Odor, but that was too much of a mouthful for the Anglo-Saxons who named it Brycgstow, which is even more of a mouthful. This became Bristow and later Bristol. It sits on the River Avon, with Avon deriving from the Welsh world for river "afon", it's therfore literally called the River River. Who said the English were twp? It has an annual balloon festival, the hot air type not the Reform Voter type.
