Owain Glyndŵr led a 15-year revolt against English rule in Wales — not bad for a lawyer from Sycharth. He established the first Welsh parliament in Machynlleth, forged alliances with France and Scotland, and became the last native Prince of Wales to hold the title with any real meaning behind it.
He was never captured. Never surrendered. Just... disappeared into legend.
This is the only image of him in existence. It was discovered painted on a wall in a Powys church that had been covered for 600 years. We’ve put it on the back.
Historians are confident it is him.
