Wrexham AFC — the oldest international football club in the world, playing out of Stok Cae Râs (the Racecourse Ground) in North Wales, sponsored by United Airlines, and now competing in the Championship after one of the most remarkable rises in football history.

In 2020, Ryan Reynolds — yes, Deadpool himself — and Rob McElhenney, co-creator and star of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, bought the club. Why? Nobody's entirely sure. But they did. And what followed became Welcome to Wrexham on Disney+: a documentary that turned a Welsh football club into a global phenomenon.

The Turf pub is built into the ground. The fans are legendary. The story is still being written. And somewhere between Deadpool's fourth-wall breaks and Paddy's Pub, a little club in North Wales captured the world's attention.
