The current Wrexham crest was introduced for the 1973–74 season. But before that — from 1950 — the club wore the Maelor crest. Maelor, meaning land of the prince, was the area now comprising the borough of Wrecsam, part of the ancient lands of Madog ap Gruffydd, ruler of Powys Fadog.
This is that badge. The original. Before the rebrand. Before the fame.
